*Limited Lifetime Year Warranty

We use U.S. made, Premium Shield Elite film for our Paint Guard kits and are a Premium Shield certified installer. Premium Shield Elite film is covered against manufacturers defects and yellowing to the original purchaser for the lifetime of the film. Of course, we will take care of any issues if the customer stays local, but if your customer re-locates for any reason, they are still covered. Being a Premium Shield film certified installer means that no matter where in the US a claim is made, all the customer needs to do is contact Premium Shield (warranty card provided) and they will send another certified installer to take care of them.

  * Limitation of liability: Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by collisions or penetration of the film.

Can you paint or apply a clear coat over the Premium Shield Film?

No, this is not recommended & is at your own risk. Premium Shield film is supplied with an OEM-approved clear coat which is not formulated to be over-printed, painted or clear coated.

Can Paint Protection Film be applied over graphics?

The film will not interfere with vinyl or painted graphics & is designed to match the gloss levels of today’s automotive factory clear coat paint systems, providing virtually invisible protection. It will protect your painted graphic &/or vinyl as well. However, if Premium Shield Paint Protection Film is removed, damage may occur to the underlying graphic during the removal process.

How is Premium Shield Paint Protection Film removed?

If desired, film can be removed at any time by picking up a corner of the film & pulling the film off the vehicle surface from a 30-90 degree angle. If the film has been present a long time, or if the film & vehicle are cold, a heat gun or hair dryer may be used to soften the adhesive, allowing easier removal. If any adhesive remains, it can be removed with an adhesive remover.

Can Premium Shield Paint Protection Film be reused?

No, once the film has been applied & set, the adhesive will not stick a second time.

What if someone else says they can do it cheaper?

As you know "you get what you pay for". We are not the cheapest around & there is good reason for that. You are getting the best installer around, with the most coverage & least amount of lines & splices. Get it done right the first time. With over 10 years of design & install experience you will!
